What is the difference between Active, Deep and Total?
- Active FX: Treats superficial skin layers with larger columns, ideal for hyperpigmentation concerns.
- Deep FX: Uses narrower columns to penetrate deeper skin layers, perfect for addressing fine lines, wrinkles, and textural issues.
- Total FX: Combines both Active FX and Deep FX to provide comprehensive treatment for both textural and pigment issues.
Unlike older CO2 lasers, Total FX uses fractionated beams to treat columns of skin rather than whole areas. This technique offers a shorter recovery time and less discomfort during the procedure, while still delivering maximum results in a single treatment. The laser destroys the outer skin layer and heats the underlying skin, stimulating collagen production over time.
